Magnus Magnusson makes his living fighting night after night in small-time mixed martial arts cage matches. It's the only life he's ever known and ever figures to know--until an archaeology professor from NYU shows up one night to tell him he's actually Magni, the super-strong son of Thor, one of the very real and, in this case, very much in trouble, Norse gods.
