This course is intended for those taking care of mechanically ventilated patients, including attending physicians, medical and sual residents, medical students, respiratory therapists, ICU nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

The only thing this course requires is to have basic knowledge in breathing physiology and respiratory system anatomy, that's all, you don't need to be a fellow in pulmonary and critical care medicine to learn mechanical ventilation and you will find out soon how true this is!
Our course consists of around 65 short videos organized in 6 sections, most videos are less than 4 minutes each, very few are above 4 minutes, the longest video is about 8 minutes long. I made sure to keep the videos short to make it easy to stay on track and stay focused, you will have a practice test at the end of each section to make sure the information in that section has sunk in
by the end of this course, you will be able to understand and interpret everything on this screen "the ventilator screen", to pick the right mode of mechanical ventilation, pick your initial ventilator settings, adjust the ventilator settings according to your patient's need, monitor respiratory mechanics on the ventilator screen, and finally, you will know how to wean your patients of the ventilator, it's a comprehensive course that will take you from a bner to an intermediate if not advanced level in mechanical ventilation
