DON RODRIGUEZ is a coming of age story set in the mythical "golden age" of Spain, with overtones of Miguel Cervantes' classic DON QUIXOTE. Denied his inheritance, young Don Rodriguez (meaning 'Sir' Rodriguez) sets off with sword and mandolin to win his own estate and bride. He is joined by Morano, a Sancho Panza-like servant, and together the two persevere through a series of misadventures as Rodriguez tries to win his fortune.
