Requirements

Description
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is the foundational text of the Eight Fold Path of Yoga. Though Yoga was being practiced for 100s of years before Patanjali, Maharishi Patanjali was the first to compile them in written form.
The word Yoga means Union. Union of what? Union of the Mind & Body to transcend from our mundane level of consciousness to elevated states. The word Sutra means a short, condensed phrase. These phrases are pointers on how to achieve the Union!
Except, the sutras need to be decoded! And the decoding needs to be done by a Master, a Guru; one who has experientially walked the path shown by Maharishi Patanjali and could therefore guide the student past the obstacles.
In this series, we take a Deep Dive into Chapter 01 of the Yoga Sutras. The source of the primary interpretation of the Sutras is Video Discourses by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on his commentary on the Yoga Sutras. The discourses by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar are to be watched by the student on their own time. The discourse is available on the Art of Living App. The student is encouraged to download the App from the App Store or Google Play store in order to view the respective Video Discourses.
In this series, we present recorded sessions of the discussions after each chapter of the above mentioned video discourse. The discussions re-interpret the sutras by drawing parallels with Physics & Physical Sciences. This re-interpretation helps to make the sutras real by drawing parallels with Physical Sciences for which we all have an intuitive feel.
This re-interpretation makes the sutras Real.
