Razz: thanks I have explained to the member that razz does not put trojans or malware in things, and they are mistaken they also broke a razz rule about reporting malicious files via private message instead of in the replies. They probably thought they were doing a good thing but was fooled by a false positive.

You can also see that this member has never said thanks when the file is not giving them issues, vs all of you always give thanks, often even if there is a problem,.

The computer says to go, why would you trust your eyes that it is not safe to drive when a computer clearly is telling you it is safe to go?

You're BSing as BSing is possible. Defender is snake oil, AT LEAST check against Virustotal or other services. Then you obviously have no idea how such a trojan works and are unable to check it for yourself. And in this case don't write something like there is this or that because you're not in a position to judge or understand what you're observing. Or even, because you're less than an observer, just a reader, be very, very cautious how you phrase.

And IF you want to be able to write something like there is a virus, do this before:

Put the software in a virtual machine where you can test how the software reacts, any connections to the outside? If so, where is it pointing to? Break up your network connection with a man-in-the-middle like a Raspi, so you've control about what is happening. I did that and it was VERY obvious that this wasn't anything close to a trojan, just a false alarm.

We do try to fix false postives but when Jotti comes back with nothing, we do not.
