![HOW TO CREATE A TRUSTED FOLDER FOR WINDOWS DOWNLOAD](https://i.ibb.co/yF33bZ7/windows-av-DT.gif)
This is what to do when windows security says it cannot download or run a game that you get from Razz.
You are downloading, get an error that there is a virus but you know it is not a virus but windows security does not want you to have it, this is what you do.
this is for TRUSTED downloads, when you know the file is clean but your antivirus disagrees.
In windows security, windows 10 and 11 is where to start you can just flip the switch to temporary shut off the antivirus, when you reboot it is automatically re engaged.
Where it shows the antivirus on/off you can shut it off for a temporary fix, otherwise continue to follow the diagram
From there we are making an exlusion rule, you can make a folder anywhere, in this case I used C:\games but you can use any folder like C:\trustedor or whatever.
this creates a safe space for files that are KNOWN SAFE but false positives that your AV program will not allow to run.
You are telling your antivirus that things that are detected will not get removed in the future as well.
Your other problem is where your downloads go, you can either share that last trusted folder, or create a new one like show in the diagram. but it has to go a trusted folder so your AV does not take them.
