This mini-course will go over the importance of a budget, how to create it, and how to use it. How so? It will go over the importance of goals, actual steps in creating a budget, sticking to the budget, a specific example run-through, savings accounts and when to use them for what, and debt repayment methods.Budgeting is such an important skill to learn at a young age so this short session will make it easy to follow in one sitting and give a great visual of how to start one. You can always revisit if needed. Each step will be explained as well as the example provided will be targeted to the teen/young adult demographic. The younger you are when you learn this important skill, the easier it will be when you have more expenses life throws at you depending on your journey.One thing to keep in mind when you work through a budget is that it takes patience and practice.
