Description
Fractions and proportions covers every aspect of this critical required math subject. It includes modules that are not normally presented, but are necessary for a full understanding of the subject. Fractions and proportions provides the student with one method to handle all fractions, and does not require a least common or other common denominators, which is very important in algebra. this course is presented by thirteen individual modules, where you will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide multiple fractions with multiple operators. Improper, proper, and compound fractions will be discussed where you will learn there is no need for least common denominators and proper fractions, as the improper form is easier to manipulate and you only need to convert to a proper form at the very end. The methods you will learn will solve the fractions and, solving it produces the least common denominator. The student will learn to use fractions with both signed and unsigned number or a mix of both. You will further learn how to convert fractions to decimal and how to convert the four decimal types to fractions. This course will also introduce the student to the number line with fractions as well as set builder and interval notation as it applies to fractions. Fractions with equalities and equalities will be discussed in module thirteen. Students who make the effort to master this course will not have a problem with algebra and most likely will make the difference between success and limited knowledge or failure.
