This class is for anyone who wants to create a professional-looking modern monogram that they can use as a logo to represent themselves.
This class is perfect for bners who want to learn some of the essential tools in Adobe illustrator. I'll share my secrets from my 30+ year career as a designer to make it easy for you to start.
Monograms are a great way to create a logo for your brand without overthinking things too much. Designing a monogram is like designing a simple logo. You will be able to apply the basic design skills and Illustrator techniques to your next project after learning some of the basics in this class.
You'll need a few common materials for this class to get started and complete your monogram. To b sketching, you'll need some blank white paper, tracing paper, and a pencil or pen. To digitize your sketch, you'll need a scanner or a smartphone, which I'm sure all of you have. Finally, we will be drawing your logo in Adobe Illustrator* on a computer. It's unnecessary, but it can be helpful if you have a drawing tablet like a Wacom.

*Note: I'll be using the most recent version of Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud for the desktop on a Mac computer. But you should be able to use any version of Illustrator, even on a PC.
