Ferroalloys, by definition, are alloys of two or more metals, of which one is Iron. The U.S. Bureau of Mines defines ferroalloy as an alloy of iron with at least one other element except for carbon.
The main indicator of the quality of a ferroalloy is its chal composition and, above all, the content of the leading element. It is important to have Consistency in alloying element amounts in ferroalloys from heat to heat, allowing the manufacture of standard products
