If you're interested in a fun bner project to learn After Effects then look no further! Animated loops are a great way of learning animation, illustration, character design, rigging and so much more. I'll be there creating my own animated loop alongside you! Let me guide you through all of the tricky parts of After Effects, so the program can get out of your way and you get to the fun stuff. By the end of the class, you'll have your very own animated loop that you can post on social media to impress all of your friends.

I tried to design this class to be approachable to people who have never opened After Effects before, but it's a great project for all skill levels! Even if you have some After Effects knowledge under your belt already, but you're unsure what you should do with it, this is a great way of cementing your skillset.

After Effects is the only mandatory program you need to have installed but I find that it's easier to create characters in Illustrator, so you should install that as well if possible! Adobe Media Encoder is also useful to have installed to make exporting our animated loops easier.
