An adventure game with strategy and management elements in a medieval fantasy setting - drawing inspiration from classics such as Warcraft 3 and The Settlers. Embark on quests, hunt down treasures and manage your resources as you build, battle, cast magic and brew potions to bring order to a world on the brink of disaster.

EXPLORE

GATHER RESOURCES
Collect everything that isn't bolted to the floor! Dwarves don't mind work, but they won't lift a finger in an empty stomach. You can't build a working mill out of mud and sticks, so you'll have to search for the appropriate materials. Keep food stocked and resources plentiful and your world will expand!


BUILD
Build bridges over turbulent rivers, build docks in the swamps, repair buildings, and build new ones! Mills will provide food, sawmills will provide building materials, forges will improve equipment - and you can always sell the surplus at the market. Many building styles and colors await you in the game.


GO QUESTING
The citizens of the world have always had many problems to overcome and quests to embark on. Try to help everyone you can, and reap the rewards of your labours. You can also always count on what's most important: sincere words of gratitude*.

use start-game.bat

you all think you are sneaky not using start-game.bat, WHY????

it starts the game every time.

you did not know you could search the gamefolder ? there is a box at the top says search. try search exe.

OKay you say you there are NO EXEs?

I can find 9 of them including the one that starts the game. If you want the exe in a different place, take it up with the game developer.



start_game.bat tells you where the exe to start is, why not use it?

if the game does not run for you, there is something wrong with your PC you should take your PC to your repair shop and have them fix it if it is too much to ask that you do your own updates for your computer or go in the folder called redist that contains runtime files that you might need.

I did not need the runtime files as my PC is updated and I know how to do that.

Razz why the hate! we have enough of that in this country. This the only game I have had this problem.
If I knew all these things I could be a uploader and would not need you or your games. And not help you by using upload cloud pro.

?? Thanks again Razz, used the information you provided to find the MedievalTales-Win64-Shipping.exe, as I did not install it to my C Drive, then created a shortcut on the desktop & the game works perfectly. ? ?

Razz: Good to know. if you cannot find a file did you know you can search for .exe?

Ok, I have to say - it's not hate. If it was hate, Razz and or whomever would have royally blasted y'all far worse than what was given.
It's sad that in this day and age; even in the last 5 years people have forgotten how to update their drivers and update other software. Instead, they rely on "windows updates" and assume everything is updated.

And now I feel super old because I remember when if you wanted a software update you literally had to do it on your own or log into the correct BBS (Bulletin Board System) and work out a deal with the SysOp (System Operator) for the program. Yes, that's the early 80's folks. Ah, the days of Basic. Let's see who knows this one? Poke 584,1 - what does this do? Hint, it's a super easy command, though not as easy as "RUN".

Props to Razz though. Edited posts correctly, IMO. Took the time to respond;some admins would just blast and then delete further disturbances. And that my friends is putting it nicely.

WHY don't people know there is a place called google? Google is a place that if you don't know something, there is a place to look it up. If I went to play a game and I got an error like 34345xcdjwo.dll was not found I would google for 34345xcdjwo.dll NOT say that Razz's games do not work.

I should not have to tell anyone that to play games you must both turn your PC on and install directx.
Should I have to mention that you need to turn on your monitor and if you are using a battery operated mouse to also put batteries in it and turn it on?
Should I mention that your PC and monitor , unless laptop need to be plugged in to a power source for the game to operate properly?
Should I mention that you will need a program like winrar to extract the files from the archive?
At what point is all this "should I" just silly stuff?

You guys are really smart. some of the puzzles you can solve so easily, Razz just gives up on. In a hidden object game,if you needed a sword to cut the rope, you would look for the sword, no? Would it not be silly to say the game doesn't work because you could not find the sword?

Am I asking too much?
