In this brief video, we'll review the requirements and goals for this course.

Before starting this course, you should have: 1) some experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, 2) a basic understanding of core PowerShell commands, and command structure, and 3) the PowerShell 5.0 Preview installed. If you're running Windows 10, the PowerShell 5.0 Preview is already installed. If you're running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you can install the latest Windows Management Framework (WMF) 5.0 Preview package. For installation of the Azure Resource Manager (ARM) PowerShell module via the PowerShell Gallery, the PowerShellGet module is required, which is included with PowerShell 5.0.
