This course teaches you the foundations of real- systems and how to build real- applications using the ARM CMSIS-RTOS specification and Keil RTX, the official real- kernel by ARM.

Be able to build Real- applications

Be able to understand how a Real- Kernel works

Be able to understand how the First Come First Served Scheduler worsk

Be able to understand how the Round Robin Scheduler works

Be able develop Real- Applications for the Keil RTX Real- Kernel

Be able to calculate the CPU utilization of an operating suystem

Be able to give a lecture on CMSIS-RTOS specification

Be able to build Board Support Packages

Basic C programming is a plus

The course gives a detail overview of the APIs provided by CMSIS-RTOS and then goes on to build real- applications using those APIs.

This course does not assume prior knowledge of real- systems and application programming. By the end of this course you should be able to build your own real- applications and test their performance.
