What you'll learn

At the end of the five programmes, student will learn over 130 new nouns, key verbs including 'be' and 'have' + got, adjectives, articles, the English alphabet, colours, singular and plural and prepositions.
Students will increase their English vocabulary and build a solid grammar foundation as well as hear clear, slow and correct pronunciation. For teachers and parents, by the end of this course, you will have learnt other ways how to teach your children English.
At the end of each programme, students will have completed an A-Z art project to keep forever.
Students will also learn to count from 1-50 over the five programmes.
After hearing slow and clear pronunciation by a mother tongue English speaker, students should have more confidence speaking English.

Requirements

You do not need to have a good understanding of English. You only need to be willing to learn and have fun at the same time.
You will need a cardboard box, scissors, glue and a printer to print colour or black and white prints.

Description

At my ESL school, I believe that learning English should be equally fun and educational and for this reason, I have created an entirely new concept to keep students engaged while they learn. It's called 'English On A Box'.

As an experienced mother tongue English teacher working with pre school, primary and high school children for the past six years and the owner of private English schools in Italy, I have discovered that when teaching English with fun and interesting activities that children can relate to, students are more open to learning.

So I have designed five easy and fun programmes for students to follow with slow and clear pronunciation. The five programmes have 130 quick lessons with grammar inserted into each programme in a fun and interesting way. I recommend to start with programme 1 to create a strong grammar and pronunciation foundation and work through all of the programmes.

At the end of each programme, students will not only have learnt key English grammar and pronunciation but they will have also created a work of art using very little materials - just a box, scissors and glue!

The course is for beginners, bilingual children or for parents and teachers who want to learn/teach children English.

Children can 'drop in' to an English lesson any time they want and for just a few minutes each day or week, they can learn English and have fun at the same time.

Programme 1: at preschool

Programme 3: at primary school

Over 26 new nouns, colours, the english alphabet, vowels, verbs, prepositions, articles, it is, adjectives, numbers 20-30.

Programme 4: at the zoo

Over 26 new nouns, colours, the english alphabet, verbs, prepositions, articles, it has got, face and body, adjectives, numbers 30-40.

Programme 5: at the castle

Over 26 new nouns, colours, the english alphabet, general verbs, prepositions, articles, singular and plural, demonstrative pronouns, to be, adjectives, numbers 40-50.

Free programme: at christmas

This is a free programme with christmas vocabulary. Learn over 26 new nouns along with the english alphabet and build a christmas house at the same time.

Free programme: at halloween

This is a free programme with halloween vocabulary. Learn over 26 new nouns along with the english alphabet and learn the difference between singular and plural. Learn english and build a spooky halloween house at the same time.

Who this course is for:

This course is designed for children from 2-10 years old. It is for beginners, bilingual or children interested in arts and crafts.
The course is also for parents to help teach their children and for ESL teachers with lots of ideas and activities to use in the classroom.
Younger children may need supervision cutting the templates but they can follow the video and glue the templates to the box.
