Phil Perry & Kevin Sanlin started out in the well known group The Montclairs. They then moved to LA and it was through Natalie Coles producer Charles (Chuck) Jackson that they got signed to Capitol Records. The first album release was in 1980 and the album was titled-For those Who Love, the album showcase's Phil & Kevins true to life song writing and precise vocal delivery it also helps being backed by fantastic instrumentalists such as Leon Ndugu Chancler, Patrice Rushen, Michael McGloiry, Nathan East & Tony Coleman.
