Active @ KillDisk Ultimat is a program for reliable complete and irreversible deletion and safe formatting of all data from the hard disk, including file systems (NTFS, FAT32, FAT16 and FAT12) and logical partitions. It works with the disk through the BIOS in direct DOS mode (from a boot diskette) and overwrites every available sector of the hard drive. The program uses the US Department of Defense 5220.22 M data deletion method. You can run the program from a bootable DOS disk, flash card, or CD drive. Access to data is carried out at the physical level through the basic input / output system (BIOS), bypassing the structure of logical drives.

Regardless of the type of operating system (DOS, Windows, Linux, and Unix) and the file system, Active KillDisk will completely delete all data without the possibility of its recovery.
