Attention!

Okay, I tested this last night and it worked flawlessly for me. No key needed and not once is a key even asked for. To the few who had trouble with it, you're doing something wrong. My experience is a quick and perfect install. This thing works exactly as advertised. Follow the instructions below....

1) Burn the ISO to disc at slowest speed to reduce chance of errors. Just because you can burn a CD at 48x doesn't mean you should, especially when dealing with software.

2) Place the finished CD in your drive, making sure your bios is set to boot first from that drive. Restart your computer.

3) When you see the message about booting from the CD and "Press any key to continue...", do that. Press any key.

4) The blue window will open with your partition info. Follow the instructions to delete your old partition(s) and format your drive. It's always better to do the slow format but you can pick the quick format if you prefer. When the drive formatting is finished, the screen will return to the blue partition page. Follow the instructions, highlight the partition and click on install XP to this partition.

5) Your computer will reboot. This time, when the screen comes up saying "To boot from the CD, press any key to continue....", DON'T press anything. Just wait. After 5-10 seconds the screen will change to the familiar blue and white install screen and at the bottom you'll see the files being copied to the computer. From this point on, don't touch the computer except for the couple of screens that actually require your interaction like naming the computer, setting time zones, workgroup name, network info, etc.

6) When the install is finished and the computer restarts you'll see the "Welcome to XP. Let's take a few minutes to set up your computer." screen. Follow the prompts through the few pages, and you're done. You now have a fresh XP Pro SP3 system that is up to date through September 2010.

7) You will quickly receive a "There are updates for your computer" notice. These are a couple minor updates that came out after this disc was compiled. Go ahead and install them if you wish. ***NOTE*** -- One of these updates is the old WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) notification. DO NOT INSTALL this.

8) Enjoy your new system.
