This is a bners course on the subject of aviation and what it takes to become a pilot including terms and definitions you need to understand, the steps to follow in order to become a pilot, different aircraft types and lastly an introduction into the world of helicopters.

Section 1 is an A - Z glossary of aviation terms and definitions including some short videos showing how an airplane works.

Section 2 is a summary of the steps you need to follow in order to become a pilot starting with attaining your Private Pilots License and building up to passing your Airline Transport Pilots License.

Section 3 is an explanation of the different types of aircraft including single ee, turbine ee and jet ee aircraft as well as a short selection of aircraft types with some video footage. Aircraft types include various Cessna types, the King Air B200, a Piper Saratoga and a Hawker 800 jet. There is also an explanation about taildragger aircraft and A1 Husky video is used to show differences between tricycle aircraft and taildragger aircraft.

Section 4 is an introduction into the world of helicopter and includes short videos on perfog different helicopter manoeuvres using an Alouette II helicopter.

The conclusion includes the differences between flying a fixed wing aircraft as opposed to flying a helicopter and the differences between the two.
